The Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) is staging a FREE Show 'n Shine for everyone in the Bendigo region to enjoy.

VACC was founded in Bendigo on 20 September 1918, so to celebrate its 100-year birthday, VACC is organising a Centennial Cavalcade from Melbourne to Bendigo of 100 vehicles from 1918 to 2018! The Centennial Celebrations will also include a fabulous Centennial Show 'n Shine community event within the Bendigo Town Hall precinct and will include family-orientated activities, food and entertainment.

This will be a fabulous opportunity for motor vehicle enthusiasts of all kinds to either come and view magnificent vehicles from the past or to showcase their own historical cars, commercial vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, and any other vehicle of any make, model or vintage between 1918 and 2018. There will also be even more vehicles on display from the century showcased throughout the precinct.

The numbers are unrepeatable: 100 vehicles from 100 years; over 61 marques; and a once in a lifetime event. Such is the scale of this Show 'n Shine, it is believed an event like this has never before been attempted anywhere in the world.

The Cavalcade will set off from Calder Park raceway, featuring cars, commercials, trucks and motorcycles, highlighting a centenary of Australian motoring. Waved off at approximately 8.30am by event ambassador and participant, Shane Jacobson, one of Australia's most-loved, award-winning actors and entertainers. The Cavalcade will then be led up Calder Freeway by a 1918 Buick Roadster. There will be many special vehicles in the 100-vehicle lineup.
